Dr. Radha Tamerisa

Dr. Radha Tamerisa is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist who has been practicing in Katy, TX, for the last 13 years.

After finishing her training, she has chosen to settle down in her hometown where she proudly serves the needs of her community.

Education and Postgraduate Training

Internship training at Medical College of Pennsylvania/ Hahnemann University Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she also completed her Gastroenterology fellowship.

Chelsea Haibleib, PA

Chelsea Haibleib is a certified Physician Assistant. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch.

Chelsea has worked under the mentorship of Dr Tamerisa since graduating from PA School in 2016. She has been an active member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants since she was in college, and served on the Executive Board as the UTMB Student Director through PA School.

Chelsea enjoys all aspects of gastroenterology with a clinical interest in inflammatory bowel disease. She is passionate about integrating health and wellness education into her daily practice and strives to provide high quality care to all patients.

Chelsea is originally from Katy, Texas and is married to her high school sweetheart. When not working, she enjoys cooking, reading, playing music with her husband, travelling and cuddling with her dog, Easton.

Jenna Shepherd

Jenna Shepherd is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Jenna obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Texas Women’s University and then her Master’s degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center- Houston.

Prior to working in the office setting as a Nurse Practitioner, she has worked as a Registered Nurse with her work focus being in Gastroenterology. With the desire to develop long term relationships with her patients, she felt lead to pursue her Master’s degree after working several years as a Registered Nurse.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Jenna is able to provide holistic care for a variety of patients in the office setting in addition to continuing to utilize her skills developed as a Registered Nurse. The foundation of her care is based on educating and encouraging patients to an overall healthier lifestyle.

Jenna is married and has two children. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, cooking, and gardening. She also enjoyscrafting and traveling in her free time.

Tara Torres

Tara Torres is our Clinical Nutritionist who manages our wellness and weight management programs. Tara has been counseling patients in the areas of medical weight loss, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, and other obesity related conditionssince 2013. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and specializes in custom workout plans of all different levels.
